Holy Reclamation ~ My Story
The architecture of your life was never meant to be rented out.
For years, many of us operate under a quiet, grinding contract. We trade our genius, our stamina, and our intuition to a revolving cast of landlords, corporate boards, political machinery, institutional gatekeepers, and the endless expectations of a culture that rewards compliance over clarity. We become brilliant architects of other people’s empires, executing strategies, running campaigns, and scaling visions while keeping our own true fire locked behind a deadbolt.
I know what it looks like to be exceptional at climbing the corporate ladder and playing a game you no longer believe in. I know what the Sunday scaries feel like when your outer life is a masterclass in high-achieving execution, but your inner life is starving for a true north. When work demands 24/7, trumping all things, leaving you depleted. The turning point doesn’t happen when you finally get permission from the top. It happens when you realize the corner office you are sitting at was never yours to inherit.
For me, the shift came when the floodgates opened. It wasn’t a plan. It was a deluge. Frameworks, symbols, glyphs, and hundreds of pages of writing poured in all at once. When channels like that open up to you, it can easily scatter your focus. It felt multidimensional, galactic, beautifully overwhelming, and entirely too vast to manage without a root system. So I made a deliberate choice. I stepped away from the noise and anchored myself in something absolute, rooting my work in Scripture and turning to God with a very specific, uncompromising bargain.
Let me build for You, and restore to me the dominion You intended from the beginning. Authority over my life and my work, exercised under Your hand and for Your glory. No more middlemen. No masters but the One I was made to serve. I meant it with every fiber of my being. That single trade changes how you wake up in the morning.
What ended was not authority over my life. What ended was the revolving cast of landlords who were never authorized to hold it. When you stop working for the approval of a boss or the metrics of a market and start treating your work as a sacred covenant, the entire nature of your leadership transforms. You stop striving and start stewarding. You realize that the branding, the strategy, the systems, and the frameworks you carry aren’t just commercial assets. They are tools entrusted to you for the flourishing of others.
Most people waiting to reclaim this authority are waiting for a gap in the fence. They think they need a cleaner break, a bigger safety net, or one more validation from the outside world before they can step into what was already theirs. You don’t need permission to step off the assembly line. You need to recognize that the scaffolding you’ve been building for everyone else can be turned inward to support your own architecture.
If you are standing at the edge of your own reinvention right now, feeling that restless, uncontainable pull toward something higher, cleaner, and wholly accountable to God, let this be your marker. Take the raw fire of what you are meant to build, ground it in something unshakable, and draw the line. You weren’t made to manage someone else’s machine to the point of breaking, crushing your soul, and harming your health, mental, physical, and spiritual. Perhaps you were made to build what God entrusted to you and the way he intended. Hold the door open for others. Walk through it faithfully.
The blueprint is already written in His Word. The blueprint is within you. It’s time to lock it in with God and move faithfully, one step at a time.
With love,
Ari’yah
